Senior Robotics Software Engineer

Your mission

Design and implement cutting-edge algorithms to run on real-world industrial robots that solve business critical tasks for our customers. Architect and build our technology stack in a way that allows us to achieve our long-term goals.

You’ll have tons of opportunities to progress and grow within the company, whether that is building your own team or specialize technically in specific parts of our stack if you so prefer. You will be part of the daily decision making of the company a get to make important strategic decisions for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and design AI software for robotics applications.
• Integrate software components to make them work together on real robots.
• Design and implement sub-components of the system such as perception, planning and control systems.
• Program machine learning pipelines and data infrastructure.
• Build on and set up good software development processes and tools.
• Work with customers to improve the product.
• Coach, teach and manage more junior employees.
• Contribute to strategic decisions and help shape the company's direction.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of core robotics concepts whether through university education, self-study or practical experience.
• At least 1-2 years experience working with real-world robot or similar systems
• Experience in programming robots.
• Python and C++ programming experience is a plus.
• Machine learning experience is a plus.
• English or German language skills.
• Based in Zurich, Switzerland or willing to relocate.
• Willingness to work in an in-person working environment.
